1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Super Earth Salute platform — including registering a faction, submitting a charity event, participating in giveaways, or engaging with any other feature — you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this platform. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users under the age of 18 should ensure they have appropriate parental or guardian consent.

3. Submissions & Content

This platform allows you to submit faction registrations, charity event details, and other community content. By submitting content, you confirm that:

• The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You are an authorised representative of the faction or event you are submitting on behalf of.
• Your submission does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Your submission does not contain offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or harmful content.

All submissions are subject to admin review. Approval is at the sole discretion of the Super Earth Salute team and does not guarantee coverage, broadcast, or any form of feature.

4. Content Rights & Licence

You retain full ownership of all original content you submit, including images, descriptions, and lore. By submitting content to this platform, you grant Super Earth Salute a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and share that content in connection with our YouTube channel, Discord server, and related community productions.

This licence ends if you delete your submission or account, except where content has already been published in a production (e.g. a YouTube video), in which case it may remain as part of that archived production.

5. Events & Giveaways

Super Earth Salute may from time to time host community events, major order campaigns, or giveaways through this platform or our associated Discord server. Where applicable, specific rules, eligibility criteria, and prize details will be published alongside each event. Participation constitutes agreement to those specific event rules.

Super Earth Salute reserves the right to cancel, modify, or disqualify participants from events at its discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, rule violations, or platform abuse.

6. Conduct

You agree not to use this platform to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Harass, intimidate, or harm other community members.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to platform systems or other user accounts.
• Submit spam, malicious content, or unsolicited promotions.
• Impersonate Arrowhead Game Studios, Sony Interactive Entertainment, or any other individual or organisation.

Violations may result in immediate removal of submissions and permanent suspension from the platform without notice.

Super Earth Salute reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the platform where necessary to protect the community, prevent abuse, investigate misconduct, comply with legal obligations, or enforce these Terms.

7. Discord Integration

Certain features of this platform (such as tier verification and faction eligibility) require you to connect your Discord account via OAuth. By doing so, you authorise us to read your Discord username, user ID, and role assignments within the Super Earth Salute Discord server, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke this access at any time via your Discord account's Authorised Apps settings.

8. Discord Platform Compliance

Certain features of this platform rely on the Discord API. By using those features, you acknowledge that your use of the platform may also be subject to Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer Terms, and Developer Policies. Users may not use this platform in any manner that would cause Super Earth Salute to violate Discord's rules, applicable laws, or platform requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

Super Earth Salute is an independent fan-run YouTube channel and community platform. This platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, missed coverage opportunities, or damages arising from use of this platform. We make no guarantees of uptime, availability, or continuity of service.

10. No Affiliation with Arrowhead or Sony

Super Earth Salute has no formal or informal relationship with Arrowhead Game Studios AB or Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC. We cannot be held to represent, speak on behalf of, or act as an agent for either company in any capacity. Any opinions, announcements, or content published on this platform are those of the Super Earth Salute community alone.

Use of Helldivers™ terminology, imagery, and lore references on this platform is fan-driven and falls under community and nominative fair use. If you believe any content on this platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us via Discord and we will respond promptly.

11. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated at any time to reflect changes in our platform's scope or applicable regulations. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Significant changes will be announced in our Discord server.

12. Privacy

Your use of this platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can request its deletion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict of law principles.
